Glog

Assignment Title:  Glogster

Uses in the classroom:  Students could use this website to create a multimedia poster with information about a specific country, person, or topic covered in class.  They would then research the topic and create a multimedia poster with videos, image, and text pertaining to the topic.  This would be a great tool for students to use to make their projects interactive.

Issues to Consider:  It is important to consider what age level would be able to use this program.  It is also important to consider internet access and computer availability.

Mind Mapping

Assignment Title:  Mind Mapping through Gliffy



Uses in the classroom:  Teacher can use this program to illustrate key leaders, events, and people in history.  It is a great way to get across information in an informative and visual display.  Students can also use this program for class projects on biography's for key leaders in the world.

Issues to consider:  This requires a log-in and password to create a diagram.  It requires internet access and can be time consuming for students to create.
