Assignment Title: ScreenCast Video
Uses in the classroom: The ScreenCast I created was intended for student's to gain a better understanding on how to use, navigate and create their fitness websites. In the ScreenCast video, I explain how to edit images, add pages, and publish their website.
This is a great tool for students to use to help them develop technology skills as well as an interactive way for them to learn the classroom material. The students seem to be very engaged in this project and is something they can reflect on and use later on in life, whether they are creating a website for an online portfolio, business, or personal use/blog.
Issues to Consider: One issue with doing this project is the time constraint. I only have my students for 37 minutes in P.E. and to give them enough time to work on these projects can be quite challenging. Also, the lap top computers that we use are very slow to log-in, which takes up time they could be working on their projects. Some students don't have internet access at home, so it is important for me to provide them with class time to work on their projects.
